About Me

Revive Massage Therapy Est. 2013

My name is Casey Stewart-Smith and I am an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist, dedicated to providing the very best in massage therapy treatments. I qualified in 2013 and I have been studying and growing my practice ever since. I am currently based at The Plane Tree in Bethnal Green very close the Central Line tube station and other transport links.

All treatments are outcome based. The information you give me in our first consultation and subsequent treatments will influence the treatment that I give so it is very important that we establish what your needs and wants are at each treatment.

I will take an all round view of your life, of any pain, injury or stress or that is limiting what you can physically do on a daily basis and design a bespoke treatment utilising a combination of Advanced massage techniques ranging from Deep and Soft tissue work, Trigger Point Therapy, Table Shiatsu, Amma, Myofascial work and stretching techniques to help ease you back into a pain free or pain-less life.

Helping people through touch lies at the heart of the human condition and these techniques have such a profound effect on us, not only physical but also on an emotional and spiritual level. They help us to live a more rounded or balanced life. Clients have often commented on how they feel that regular treatments really help them to reconnect with their bodies in a way they never knew was possible, they feel less stressed out by daily challenges, aches and pains are eased, they sleep much better and across the board from artists to athletes they feel much more physically flexible and much more importantly in control of their own healing process. They are able to find a new form of balance in their lives one that helps them move to forward and recover and even feel in a good position to prevent reoccurring injuries.

A little bit of background

I have a degree in Commercial Music from Westminster university and I have worked quite close over the years in the theatrical industry. I was an event manager and a Tiki Lounge bar in south London before embarking on parenthood. During this time I have been a breastfeeding supporter, Childminder, School governor, learned to drive and run half marathons and a full marathon whoo.

During my second pregnancy I was introduced to Reflexology, it felt so good it really reignited a passion for holistic health and truly sparked an interest in Anatomy and Physiology. Luckily our local Idea Stores (or ‘library’ in old speak!) was teaching the subject as part of their extensive educational programmes. I became totally fascinated with the human body and once my daughter was old enough I was able to embark fully onto the programme studying both ITEC A&P and Holistic Massage Therapy at the same time. After qualifying I embarked on further courses in Brighton to become an becoming an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist

I am also very proud to be able to offer Hot Stone Massage Fusion to enhance these techniques as well as Pregnancy and Seated acupressure upon request.
